Last year going to see Lily Allen on tour I had the pleasure of seeing Natalie Portman's Shaved Head perform. At first I had to remember who Natalie Portman was and how this was going to be relevant to the bands image. Found out the name of the band is a reference to Natalie Portman's physical appearance in V for Vendetta. The band was amazing and when they sang Sophisticated Sideways Ponytail I was blown away. Natalie Portman is on the guest list of every gig they have but has not shown up. Shame on you Miss Portman. The band will re-release their first album 'Glistening Pleasure' on Warner Brothers Records at the beginning of 2010. They have already digitally released their EP "Meet Hot Singles" with newer, improved versions of some songs off of Glistening Pleasure. Here is Sophisticated Sideways Ponytail. Unfortunately the live part is only in my head and I haven't figured out how to put that online ...one day one day.
